‘Guide Me Across the Street’ was one of three recordings nominated for the category ‘Best Sound Innovation in Everyday Life’ at the international Sound of the Year Awards 2022.
The judging panel is chaired by composer Matthew Herbert, and includes, among others, Dr. Linda O’Keefe, Kate Parr, Prof. Trevor Cox, Emekah Ogboh.
The winner will be announced at the British Library on 11th May 2023.
Category partners this year include The British Library, Natural History Museum, Quiet Mark, Accidental, the Southbank Centre’s National Poetry Library, Sound On Sound, and UK Hearing Conservation Association.
